Full Flight Birds of Prey - Spectacular Attraction for the Whole Family
The staff at Full Flight Birds of Prey are highly experienced and committed to providing the best possible environment and care for our birds.
At Full Flight, we contribute to the protection of native raptors through education and conservation programs at our centre and via our mobile unit. We are firm believers in education through entertainment and understand that people will not protect these beloved species if they are not given the opportunity to see, touch or simply learn about them.
Full Flight works closely with Australia’s major zoos and other conservation organisations in order to contribute to the captive breeding population of Australian birds of prey - many of which are declining in number in the wild. Whilst the birds bred at our centre are not released into the wild, they do act as ambassadors for their species, as well as offering much needed genetic diversity in captive raptor populations.
We at Full Flight are proud of our achievements in breeding peregrine falcons, barking owls, Australian kestrels and barn owls. We hope to further our efforts in the coming years by extending our breeding program to include black falcons, masked owls, white goshawks, greater sooty owls and more.

Fabulous Lemon Drops - Children's entertainment

The Fabulous Lemon Drops are Dez and Vanessa Staunton, a musical duo based in Brisbane, Australia.
At a Fabulous Lemon Drops gig, it is all about the kids! All performances are highly interactive and children can choose their level of involvement by dancing to the catchy original tunes, joining the band on stage to play a variety of exciting percussion instruments or even dressing up in a variety of colourful costumes. Mechanical Bull - Family Entertainment - Free
Back by popular demand, Phil and his mechanical bull will be at this year's show for all ages to test their skill. Free to patrons to enjoy and delight in the experience. Lots of laughs and family fun. Phil will be holding a competition over the two days so come by and see how long you can last.
Phil will be ready for patrons to have ago from Friday 2.00pm - 8.00pm and on Saturday 10.00am to 2.00pm.

Animal Nursery - Proudly Sponsored by Greenham

Our Animal Nursery is a special place to visit for the whole family. You can interact with the cute baby animals and see how amazing nature can be. In the nursery there will be calves, guinea pigs, goats, ducklings and lots more and of course, our Chicken Breeders will be showing off their best birds and Rabbits.
North East Animal Sanctuary will be there supporting the show so why not adopt of pet and take it home and welcome it as a new member of the family. Pet Parade for children only, This will be held on Saturday morning outside the Animal Nursery staring at 10.30am. No need to have an entry form, just came along and register beforehand. A great way to show off and be proud of your beloved pet. Please Note: The Nursery will be open early on both days but will be closing around 8.00pm so the stewards can attend to the animals. Sorry to cause any inconveniences. |

Face Painting - Children's Entertainment - Free
Face painting for all ages to surprise and delight. Come along to the Stadium and see you child's face light up when they see their choice of design comes to life. A wonderful, fun activity for all to enjoy.
Available on Friday from 3.00pm to 8.00pm and Saturday, 9.00am to 2.00pm.
The Scottsdale Show offers lots more to see and do.
- Eddie Freeman will be creating a masterpiece for us all to watch and see how it is done. Silent auction will be held during the show to bid for one of his sculpture. Come along and check out Eddie at work. Friday only.
- Side Show Alley will be in full swing with rides that will delight and thrill.
- Face Painting will be free to patrons in the Stadium.
- Historical Machinery will be on display for both days.
- Fashion Parade will be held on Friday Night at 7.00pm in the Football Club Rooms. Sponsored by Sue Rees Modelling and D & Me Fashions/Goods Sports with our gorgeous Taylor Clyne as MC.
- All Classes of Miss Show Girl and Master Tiny Tot will be held on Saturday in the Football Club Rooms starting at 11.30am sponsored by Bridestowe Lavender Estate. Register on Saturday morning between 10.15am - 11.00am at the show office.
- Saturday Sheep Shearing.
- On Saturday, there will be Yard Dog Trails starting early in the morning. Sponsored by The Roach Family.
- Chopping will start up around 4.00pm on Friday Evening and a full program on Saturday.
- There will be a variety of trade stalls for you to purchase that special gift and sample the famous show food we all enjoy and love.
- Scottsdale Show Equestrian events will be held on both days and these events are known to be one of the best in the state.
- Our two Pavilions will house; Home crafts, Arts and Crafts, Photography and Trade so there will be heaps to look at from the wonderful blooms of the North East to gifted cooks, talented needle workers and of course our inspired artists and photographers.
- And don't forget our Stock Classes - Cattle Handlers, Dairy, Beef and Prime Cattle and Lamb, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Poultry.
- Pet Parade is held on Saturday and is a favourite for the children. Bring your pet along and enter on the day. Starts at 10.30am. Must register beforehand at the Animal Nursery.
